| Pastor Dave Ruddat was born in Michigan and was raised in Minnesota and Wisconsin. He attended Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota for his pre-seminary training. After graduating in 1999, he volunteered with WELS Kingdom Workers. | | | WELS Kingdom Workers recruits and supports volunteers who help WELS missions both in the United States and throughout the world. He spent one year with Kingdom Workers teaching English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in several mission congregations in Japan. After his return, he enrolled at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in Mequon, WI. | | During his time at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, pastor received a thorough education in the individual books of the Bible, Biblical Languages (Hebrew & Greek), doctrine, church history, pastoral counseling, homiletics (preaching), and church administration. Part of his seminary training involved a year as a Vicar (i.e. intern) at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church in Appleton, WI. He received his Masters of Divinity degree from the Seminary in May, 2004. He began his service in Eastern Montana on July 18th, 2004 when he was ordained into the public ministry. | | Pastor was married to Kelly Dobberpuhl on August 24, 2002. They have three children. |
